The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has given a subtle threat to the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Achebe over the recent funding accorded to Onitsha vigilante group, known as Onitsha Ado Vigilante Network.
Igwe Achebe had, on Saturday 20th March, 2021, at Ime-Obi Eze Onitsha, launched a vehicle for the Vigilante group in the struggle to contain the activities of the Eastern Security Network (ESN).
Reacting to the gesture, Nnamdi Kanu, taking to his Twitter handle, warned the Onitsha traditional ruler not to allow his office to be used to ferment trouble for ESN around Onitsha and environs.

“Otherwise,” he warned, “it will end in tears for him and his local Miyetti Allah funded vigilante named Onitsha Ado.”
He tweeted:
“Igwe Achebe, the Obi of Onitsha, MUST not allow his office to be used by #Fulani Janjaweed terrorists in Aso Rock to ferment trouble for #ESN around Onitsha and environs, otherwise it will end in tears for him & his local Miyetti Allah funded vigilante named Onitsha Ado.”

In another post, he hailed the “avengers of the innocent killed by police and army”, saying:
The cry of the blood of the innocent has reached Heaven.
Psalm 125:3 “The rod [gun] of the wicked will not remain over the land allotted to the righteous, for then the righteous might use their hands to do evil. #UGM, avengers of the innocent killed by police & army.
#Karma
