WAEC Council Breaks Silence Over Viral Media Claims

The West African Examinations Council WAEC has strongly dismissed a viral rumour making rounds on social media regarding its exam operations.

In a public statement, the Council urged parents, students, and stakeholders to ignore the falsehood.

It described the rumour as a deliberate attempt to damage its reputation and create unnecessary panic.

According to WAEC, individuals spreading the fake news aim to discredit the institution’s credibility during a crucial exam period.
