War ongoing between Kogi & Anambra, many feared dead, indigene cries out

A concerned Anambrarian has raised alarm that there is an ongoing war in area between Ika Community in  Ibaji Local Government of Kogi State and their Anambra counterparts.

The Patriotic and concerned Anambrarian, Amb Timothy Nwachukwu, an anti-corruption crusader and the convener, Campaign Against Crime Initiative (CACI) and Youth Advocates for Peace, Justice and Empowerment Network (YAPJEN), raised the alarm in an SOS made available to ElombahNews late Tuesday.

In the memo, Amb. Nwachukwu, who noted that many deaths have resulted, wrote:

“Attention Please!

“War is ongoing between Kogi State and Anambra State.

“Ika Community in  Ibaji Local Government is at war with Innoma Community in Anambra West, many killed houses destroyed.

“It is spreading fast to Owelle Kingdom.

“HRH Igwe Anthony Onyekwere, Igwe Owelle Kingdom appeals for government and security agencies assistance.”

ElombahNews has forwarded the SOS to the Police Force PRO, CP Frank Mba, and are still waiting for his reaction.
