Why Uduaghan Plotted Fejiro Oliver’s Arrest After Rally
Elombah.com has uncovered that the publisher of Secret Reporters news outfit, Mr. Fejiro Oliver has been arrested by security operatives and taken to Lagos.
Our source said he was arrested at the behest of former governor of Delta State, Chief Emmanuel Uduaghan.
Fejiro Oliver, we gathered, was flown to Lagos via Benin airport to answer questions with the security authorities.
He was arrested right after he spearheaded a rally demanding the arrest and trial of Chief Uduaghan over allegations of wanton embezzlement of public funds.
According to our source, Uduaghan had petitioned the Inspector General of Police, IGP Ibrahim Idris.
In the petition, he alleged intimidation and threats from the person of Fejiro Oliver.
He also claimed that Mr. Oliver threatened to burn down Master care school, which belonged to the wife of the former Governor, Roli Uduaghan.
Fejiro also allegedly threatened the daughter of the former Governor on his Facebook page.
In one of his write-ups, Fejiro had written: “I have the addresses of all your houses in Nigeria and abroad (including the ones you bought using fronts), but for lack of knowledge on your current abode.”
He continued: “My advice to you is simple; return back part of the money you stole from Delta State treasury.
“Cause Her Excellency, Roli to return back Mastercare School that was built with proceeds of corruption just like Former Governor Godwill Akpabio returned his to the State Government.
“Delta State is facing recession because a man like you was unfortunate to be our governor.
“With all the money that flooded the state, you refused to create industries or turn Asaba into a model city, an assignment that is standing as a negative witness to your successor today.
“Your Healthcare program, model schools and security cannot be taken away from you, but governance is more than the trio.
“You left the state financially empty, as far as removing the common coke in government house fridge, thus killing your three agenda that should have been sustained.
“2017 begins the election year for 2019 and Deltans cannot afford to have you in the Senate as you currently dream.
“The political ‘immunity’ you seek by going there cannot be granted you.
“Deltans need back their money, Sir, and we will do everything within us to return it back. The case of Ibori will be child’s play compare to what is to come upon you.”
In another publication, he cited his “recent acquisition of a sprawling mansion in Abuja”, saying:
“According to a very reliable source, the building was unoccupied for some months before Uduaghan purchased it.
“We gathered on good authority that the house situated at No 40, Colorado Close, Ministers Hill is just beside Delta State most corrupt Contractor, Uche Okpunor.
“Okpunor according to our source bought the house for Uduaghan for the eye popping sum of N1.2 billion.
“The house which is still undergoing renovation was visited by an online media Secret Reporters on January 3rd 2017 amidst tight security mounted all over the place.
“Painted white in color, it will cost Uduaghan a rough estimate of 1.5 billion to make the house worthy of his taste.
“The money is part of the billions diverted from Delta State under his watch.”
He, thereafter, organised the mega rally which finally tipped Uduaghan above the edge.
The arrest, we are reliably informed, was not unconnected with that protest.
