Minister Nyesom Wike of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has sacked Michael Ango, the Acting Executive Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory Internal Revenue Service (FCT-IRS), effective immediately.
The announcement came through a statement by Lere Olayinka, Wike’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication and Social Media.
The FCT-IRS’ most senior official has been directed to take over the agency’s operations temporarily, though no reason was given for Ango’s removal.
