Woman dies after slumping inside Ekiti hotel

Ado-Ekiti – A heartbreaking incident occurred at a well-known hotel in Ado-Ekiti, leaving staff and residents in shock. The establishment, owned by a prominent politician, sits near a private radio station along NTA Road.

According to witnesses, the young woman, whose name has not been released, suddenly collapsed in the bathroom while on duty. Despite swift efforts to revive her, she tragically passed away after being rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency care.

Sources reveal the deceased was a dedicated employee, described by coworkers as healthy and cheerful before the incident. Shockingly, she showed no signs of illness before collapsing, deepening the mystery surrounding her sudden death. Her exact role and duration of employment remain unclear at this time.

SP Sunday Abutu, the Ekiti State Police PRO, confirmed the incident and assured the public of a thorough investigation.
