A tragic incident occurred in Aba, Abia State, where a female passenger was found dead inside a commercial tricycle (Keke NAPEP) on Tuesday evening.
The incident happened around the Railway Junction area, near Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic, while the tricycle was en route to the junction.
The woman was discovered unresponsive upon arrival at her intended bus stop, prompting the tricycle operator to raise an alarm.
Some residents identified the woman as “Auntie Love,” a teacher and secretary at a popular school in Aba, based on a circulating picture of the incident on social media.
However, there is no official confirmation of her identity or residence from the police or government agencies.
The police have not yet confirmed the incident or provided any details about the investigation.
A message sent to the Abia State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Maureen Chinaka, was not replied to at the time of the report.
