2027: With or without Igbos, Peter Obi will win – Isaac Fayose

Isaac Fayose, younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, has claimed that Peter Obi will win the 2027 presidential election regardless of the level of support he receives from the Igbo community.

Fayose made the claim in a video shared on his official Facebook page on Wednesday.

He also criticised Igbo people supporting the All Progressives Congress-led Federal Government, describing them as “wicked”.

Fayose argued that, apart from the late Biafran leader, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, no Igbo politician in the last 40 years had achieved what Obi had accomplished politically.

“Any Igbo man supporting this APC government is a wicked Igbo man,” he said.

He further described those who do not support Obi as “wicked and jealous”, while insisting that the NDC presidential candidate could win the 2027 election without their support.

“You all should know that with or without you, Obi will still win come January 2027,” Fayose said.

Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, is the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2027 election.
