21 days of divine prayer encounter: Zion Prayer Movement Outreach unveils foundational program
DDM News

The Zion Prayer Movement Outreach in Lagos commenced its 21-day foundational prayer program on Monday, January 20, 2025, with a profound teaching on the transformative and irresistible power of praise
The program, led by the ministry’s Spiritual Director, Evangelist Chukwuebuka Anozie Obi, emphasized prayer and praise as powerful spiritual tools for divine intervention and supernatural breakthroughs.
In his address, Evangelist Obi explained that praise is more than acts of gratitude; they are acknowledgments of God’s sovereignty and omnipotence, Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) reported.
“Praising God is recognizing His steadfast love, boundless goodness, and overwhelming generosity in our lives.
Man is nothing without God, and His love cannot be quantified,” he stated.
The teaching drew extensively from scripture, highlighting biblical examples of prayer and praise as pathways to victory and deliverance.
In 2 Chronicles 20:20-27, the kingdom of Judah was delivered from its enemies as they prayed and sang praises to God.
Their acts of worship not only brought victory but also demonstrated their trust in God’s intervention.
Similarly, the story of Paul and Silas in Acts 16:25-26 showcased the liberating power of prayer and praise.
Though imprisoned, their heartfelt prayers and praises shook the prison’s foundations, broke their chains, and secured their miraculous release.
The fall of Jericho in Joshua 6:1-27 was also cited as an example of how prayer and praise can break barriers and grant access to divine promises.
Evangelist Obi further explained that prayer and praise are not merely acts of worship but also weapons of spiritual warfare.
“Prayers and praises are unfailing means of presenting our petitions to God.
When we praise Him with love, commitment, and sincerity, we attract His divine presence, supernatural breakthroughs, and unmerited favors,” he said.
He encouraged Zionites to engage in wholehearted prayer and praise, assuring them that it would draw God’s intervention in their battles and challenges.
The session concluded with a declaration of hope and assurance.
“Your silent days are over,
” Evangelist Obi proclaimed. “You shall be divinely located for great signs, wonders, and miracles in the name of Jesus.”
The prayer session included specific prayer points, urging participants to praise God for His kindness, goodness, and faithfulness in their lives. Prayers were also offered for divine intervention, open doors, and the success of the 21-day program.
A special segment was dedicated to praying for the ministry, its Spiritual Director, the Zionites, and the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach.
The program, which last year attracted millions of participants from African countries and across the world, created an atmosphere of deep spiritual engagement.
Many Zionites shared testimonies of renewed hope and faith, expressing their belief in God’s ability to grant breakthroughs through prayer and praise during the program.
As the first day of the program unfolded, the message of the transformative power of prayer and praise resonated strongly with the congregation.
The 21-day foundational prayer program promises to be a time of great spiritual encounters, setting the stage for divine intervention, restoration, and miracles in the lives of participants.
