Police in Lagos State has arrested a 21-year-old woman, identified as Precious Anegbode, for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend, Damilola to death during a visit to his residence in the Ijegun area of the state.
According to reports, the incident occurred after an intense argument broke out between the two lovers, which soon escalated into a violent altercation.
A resident, who doesn’t want to be quoted, said neighbours overheard a heated exchange between the duo, followed by Anegbode’s loud wailing.
Upon rushing to the scene, they reportedly discovered Damilola’s lifeless body on the floor.
“We don’t know what caused the fight. We just heard them shouting, and shortly after, the lady started crying. When we got to their room, her boyfriend was lying on the ground, unresponsive,” the source recounted.
