Police authorities in Anambra State in conjunction with the Joint Task Force (JTF), have launched a rescue operation to locate and rescue three individuals abducted on Tuesday at the Innoson motorcycle showroom in Nnewi.
While confirming the incident in a statement on Wednesday, the spokesman of the command, SP Tochukwu Ikenga revealed that the victims were abducted in the evening at the showroom on Owerri Road by the criminal elements.
The police image maker assured the general public that the command is actively working to secure their release, having already visited the scene and gathered valuable information to aid the investigation.
He urged members of the public with useful information regarding the attack to report to the police headquarters in Awka or the nearest police station.
