American rapper and producer, Curtis James Jackson III, popularly known as 50 Cent, has disclosed his intentions to produce a movie series based on Nigerian internet fraudster, Ramon Abass, also known as Hushpuppi.

50 Cent made it known while sharing pictures of Hushpuppi on his Instagram account on Wednesday, saying that he was working on a movie based on the convict.

The G-Unit Records founder wrote on the Instagram caption:

“For my scammers I gotta do this one. Hushpuppi series coming soon! GLG, Green Light Gang I don’t miss. #Bransoncognac #lecheminduroi #gunitfilmandtv.”

Hushpuppi, it could be recalled, was arrested in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates in June 2020, for defrauding thousands of Americans and later extradited to the United States for trial.

Earlier this week, a United States District Court sitting at the Central District of California found him guilty of laundering proceeds of a school financing scam, business email compromise and other fraudulent cyber schemes.

The 37-year-old had earlier pleaded guilty to the charges filed against him during the trial and was, thereafter, sentenced to 11 years and three months in the penitentiary.

50 Cent, however, did not disclose when the movie will be expected. Read more.
