Former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai appeared at the Federal High Court in Kaduna on Tuesday morning, surrounded by tight security.
He arrived at the court around 9:00 a.m. in a Hilux vehicle and was escorted into the courtroom at 9:34 a.m.
He was surrounded by operatives of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), while those from the Department of State Services (DSS) formed a protective shield around him in the courtroom.
Newsmen were denied entry while vehicular movement was restricted, leading to motorists taking a single lane from the Ungwan Sarki axis through Kawo due to traffic disruptions.
