Ongoing hostilities between Israel and Iran have escalated dramatically, with the latest Israeli airstrikes resulting in the deaths of 935 Iranian nationals.

The attacks, which took place over multiple days, targeted key locations within Iran. However, a significant portion of those killed were civilians.

Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) reports that over half of the casualties were non-combatants, including children, women, and the elderly.

According to Iranian health authorities and rescue officials, 38 children were among the deceased.

In addition, at least 132 women lost their lives in the attacks, several of whom were pregnant, deepening the emotional and humanitarian toll.

Eyewitnesses described scenes of panic as bombs struck residential areas, marketplaces, and places of worship.

Iranian state media has accused Israel of deliberately targeting civilian populations in what they describe as “war crimes.”

Israel, on the other hand, maintains that its strikes were aimed strictly at military installations and facilities linked to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The Israeli government has yet to issue an official response to the rising civilian death toll.

Military analysts suggest the strikes were part of a broader campaign by Israel to weaken Iran’s military influence in the region.

Tensions between the two countries have long simmered, rooted in ideological differences, regional rivalries, and Iran’s support for militant groups opposed to Israel.

In recent years, confrontations have intensified through proxy conflicts in Syria, Lebanon, and Gaza, with both sides engaging in direct and indirect hostilities.

The latest wave of violence marks one of the deadliest single episodes in recent Iranian history caused by foreign military action.

Hospitals in the affected regions have been overwhelmed, with medical supplies running low and rescue teams working around the clock.

International calls for de-escalation have been issued by the United Nations and humanitarian organizations, urging both nations to prioritize diplomacy and the protection of civilians.

Analysts warn that without immediate intervention, the region may descend further into a cycle of retaliation and mass suffering.

Meanwhile, grief-stricken families across Iran continue to bury their dead, with many demanding justice and accountability for the loss of innocent lives.
