The President of the Senate, Dr. Ahmad Lawan, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, and the leadership of National Assembly have just concluded a meeting which lasted over three hours to consider interventions to cushion the negative economic impact of Coronavirus [COVIDー19] on the country’s economy.
Others present at the meeting include members of the Executive such as the Minister for Finance, Zainab Ahmed, the Minister of State on Petroleum, Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria [CBN], Godwin Emefiele, the head Budget Office, Ben Akabueze and the Debt Management Office (DMO) of Nigeria.
