Unknown person poisoned a family to death in Ekwulumili, Anambra state, Nigeria

They were buried on 5th of November 2016.

The poison was put in the family food and the six children that ate the food died.

What a wicked world. God have mercy!

Simon Ekpa, the self-styled leader of the Biafra Republic Government in Exile, has made a fresh defence as he appeared before the Eastern Finland Court of Appeal to challenge his six-year prison sentence.According to reports, Ekpa told the court that he is a non-violent agitator and social media content creator** advocating for Biafran self-determination. He reportedly denied ever ordering anyone to engage in violence and rejected allegations linking his activities to violent incidents in Nigeria’s South East.The appeal follows his September 2025 conviction by a Finnish district court on terrorism-related offences. Emotional Moment as Catholic Bishops Visit Jowi Zaza’s Father After His Release From CaptorsFollowing the safe return of Chief Sir Joseph Ebere Ezeokafor, founder and chairman of Jezco Group of Companies, Catholic Bishops, including Cardinal Okpalaeke, alongside other priests, visited him at his residence in Ekwulobia, Anambra State, to show their support and solidarity after his ordeal.Chief Ezeokafor and the Catholic Reverend Sister who was abducted alongside him regained their freedom late Friday night. They were later safely picked up near Ebenebe, along the boundary between Anambra and Enugu states.The septuagenarian industrialist, who is the father of popular social media personality Jowi Zaza, was abducted in the early hours while on his way to a morning prayer session in Awka. His abduction sparked widespread concern and outrage across Anambra State and the South East.The situation became even more alarming after reports that the kidnappers contacted the family and demanded as much as ₦1.5 billion in ransom. However, the police have not confirmed whether any ransom was paid for their release.Meanwhile, the Anambra State Commissioner of Police, CP Nnanna Oji Ama, welcomed the safe return of the victims and said investigations are still ongoing.
