Israel Adesanya Dismantles Paulo Costa To Retain His UFC Title

Published

on

Israel Adesanya, the Nigerian born UFC fighter defended his title in the early hours of Sunday morning. The Nigerian kick boxer challenged Paulo Costa, a Brazilian who has made a very resounding mark in the UFC arena.

In the first round of the bout, Paulo Costa visibly had control of the fight through various punches and kicks he landed on Adesanya, who on his own part appeared mainly to be on the defensive side.

But, there was a sudden turn around in the second round of the bout when Adesanya became offensive and started throwing dangerous kicks and punches at the Brazilian maestro.

Adesanya, instead of confronting his opponent who has a bigger physique than him started bouncing round the ring. This maneuver got his opponent, Paulo Costa exhausted and created a lacuna for the Nigerian hungry tiger to devour him through a technical knockout.

Presently, Israel Adesanya is an undisputed champion of the UFC.

Can anyone stop Israel Adesanya?! He became the first man to finish Paulo Costa at UFC253!
