Below are some photos of the 2021 Afiaọlụ Nnewi (New Yam Festival) which kicked off on Wednesday at Enetedo, Nnewi in Anambra State.
Dignitaries present at the event include the traditional ruler of Nnewi, His Royal Highness Igwe Dr. Kenneth Orizu, CON, and members of the Igwe Nnewi Cabinet and three Obis of Uruagu, Umudim and Nnewichi communities.
Also present was the candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in the forthcoming Anambra State governorship election, Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah.
