The Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) has replied Kogi State granting its prayers that Oda River Oil Well – 1 be attributed to it.
Also, RMAFC attributed fifty per cent of Anambra River 1, 2, and 3 Oil Wells to Kogi State pending when the boundary between the two states will be finally delineated.
See the attached document below:

Recall that Anambra State Government led by Mr. Willie Obiano, last week, announced that the Federal Government has approved the state as an “oil producing state”.
The implication is that Anambra could henceforth join other oil producing states and benefit from the thirteen per cent derivative which will translate to to more revenues.
However, our correspondent, after sighting the document and bringing it to the attention of ElombahNews, said:
“Kogi state gets response from Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) on the issue of oil producing states.
“Anambra and Kogi are not producing but are seeking for attention in an area the world is running away.
“APGA government in Awka is full of lies.
“Anambra people should not believe anything they (Anambra government) say until they verify it themselves.”
