Search continues for missing Nigerian University student

Published

on

The whereabouts of Elizabeth Jimmy, a female student of the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, is still unknown days after she was last seen boarding a saloon car in the evening of March 6.

Diaspora Digital Media exclusively gathered that Elizabeth, who was the Assistant Class Representative in the Department of Economics, did not brief anyone on his mission on that fateful day.

DDM, in a chat with a coursemate and friend who pleaded anonymity, was told that the matter has been reported to the police and that her Lagos State-based parents were yet to arrive Akwa Ibom.

Her phone lines are switched off.

Although the police has not issued an official statement on the development, our sources hinted that security agencies are hunting for credible intelligence which could lead to the resolution of the issue.
