The Reconstruction Of Neglected Projects, By Gov Bindow

…is in favor of the rural communities- Gombi LG Chair

According to the Local government Chairman of Gombi,Alhaji Yahaya Hamza that the ongoing massive construction of roads by the administration of the executive Governor of Adamawa state, Senators Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow is no doubt touching positively the life of rural communities in the state.

The Chairman in an interview with our reporter said the Governor is going from towns to villages reconstructing new and neglected projects in an effort to bring people more closer to the government.

Yahaya revealed that the Gombi/Ganda road that was awarded in 2011 by past administration with contractors absconding to site has been revisited by Governor Umaru and has since a construction company has been mobilised to site.

Saying that economy viability of the road cannot be quantify due to the fact that is linking many Local Governments in Adamawa and Borno States with so many  communities to find life much easier than it use to be.

”This singular gesture by our working Governor is making him really the Governor for the Masses and I tell you in Gombi come 2019 Bindow has done More than enough to welcome him back with our mandate votes.” He Said

He recounted the efforts Bindow made for Gombi to be stabilize when it was been ravaged by the activities of Boko  Haram insurgents, attesting that the Governor is a focus leader with a unique and dynamic style of leadership to change the narratives of Adamawa state.

”Gombi is now a fully recapture area from the hands of Boko Haram, every economy activities has been picked up, through the good initiatives of our Governor, donor agencies like  Victims support, North East Presidential Initiative who are having the assignment of helping the ravaged communities of insurgents attacks.

“UN,WHO and so many others that were on constant visit and still coming in providing basic utilities and reviving our social amenities for the sake of our people. I don’t have much to say than a big thank you to all and sundry supporting us.” He added

He further said that there is still much to be done in the area of places of worship as many Churches and Mosque are blown off with many others burnt down by the dreaded group.

”I’m pleading to the government of  the federation and state, the international communities not to relent in fighting to end the menaced group that believe in killing innocent people for not just cause.” He pleaded
