PG Nzuko Ora Nnewi released by DSS to Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah

The President General of Nzuko Ora Nnewi, Dr. Mmaduka Atuenyi, who has been under custody of the Department of State Security (DSS), was released to Sen. Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah in the presence of Sir Augustine Onyekachukwu Ike (Ikedoji).

Sir Ike disclosed this in a private memo he made available to News Band on Tuesday.

In the memo, he said: “I wish to release this information before the “women wing” in Nnewi will start using it to play politics and lie endlessly.

“Dr. Mmaduka Atuenyi is on his way to Awka as the DSS operational routine has it that you will be released where you were picked up from for safety reasons.

“Yesterday after four hours in DSS Headquarters I almost gave up, but the Distinguished Sen. Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah kept pushing because PG was about to be moved to the military facility and you know what it means.

“In the eleventh hour, his file surfaced and I saw “Release to Sen. Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah”.

“Immediately, the PG was brought to us. I don’t know between him and I who was more excited.

“However, the procedure is that he will be moved to Awka where he was arrested and an advanced team is on ground to receive him and return him safely to his family.”

It could be recalled that Dr. Atuenyi was declared missing last week after he was mistakenly thought to be abducted by gunmen who were later discovered to be DSS operatives.
