Nigerian footballer sets Guinness record

A Nigerian footballer, Harrison Chinedu made history as his name entered the Guinness Book of World Records.

The Cambodia-based footballer balanced football on his head while walking on Sunday, March 6.

He  trekked from the Redeemed Camp to the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos where he trekked round the main bowl eleven times to break the record before trekking further eleven times to set a new record.

Before yesterday’s feat, an Indian soldier Naib Singh held the world record for travelling the farthest distance balancing a football on the head after walking a total distance of 45.64km in his country in 2014.
