Tobi Amusan has reached the final of the IAAF 2019 World Championships.
Amusan achieved the feat after hitting another 12.48 seconds to qualify for the final of the women’s 100m hurdles which will hold today.
Amusan led from the start to the finish in heat three of the semifinal to beat Jamaica’s Janeek Brown to second place.
Despite dominating Heat Three, Amusan’s time is still the third best in the semifinal behind, Jamaican Danielle Williams and America’s Nia Ali who both have the fastest time in the semifinal.
Williams ran 12.41 seconds, while Ali ran 12.44 seconds to finish first and second place respectively in Heat one.
