A fighter jet operated by the Nigerian Air Force has reportedly bombed Kunkuna village in the Safana Local Government Area of ​​Katsina State, killing scores of civilians.

At the time of filing this report, details of the incident are still sketchy but this paper gathered that the pilots of the military jet “mistakenly” hit the wrong target while targeting a camp belonging to terror bandits in the area.

“A military jet earlier today dropped airstrikes on Kunkuna Village in Safana Local Government Area of ​​Katsina State. We cannot confirm the number of casualties now,” a source told Sahara Reporters
