PHOTOS: Bayelsa residents scramble for meat as dead whale washed ashore

Residents of Foropah community in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State were, Tuesday morning, September 13, seen scrambling for meat after a dead whale was washed ashore from the Atlantic Ocean.

According to photos posted on Facebook, some locals were seen cutting meat from the decaying sea creature.

The photos posted by Facebook user, Nimi Emmanuel showed the locals chopping up the decaying whale.  Read more.
