Over 1300 persons have been arrested on the streets of Russian cities as protests against President Vladimir Putin break out across Russia.

The protests followed the announcement by President Putin on Wednesday calling up an Army reserve of 300,000 persons to join the war effort against Ukraine.

The Russian dictator also threatened to use nuclear arsenal against Ukraine after Ukrainian forces stunned the aggressors in speedy counterattack, seizing a large chunk of territories earlier held by Russia.
