The past Governor of Imo State and a former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, has tendered a public apology to “Obidients”, the supporters of the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Gregory Onwubuasi Obi, for calling them “saboteurs”.

Hon. Ihedioha recently came under fire when, during a speech, he said that anyone from the South East geopolitical zone who fails to vote for his party in the 2023 presidential election is a saboteur.

Consequent upon his utterance, Peter Obi’s supporters vowed that he will never be elected to any public office ever again.

Apparently agitated by the threat, “Emeka Ihedioha ran to Channels Television to redeem his political career”, according to an observer.

He was seen apologizing to Obidients for his choice of word, saying that he ‘enjoy a good relationship with Peter Obi’.
