The senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Iyom Uche Ekwunife has declared war against her fellow contestant and flag bearer of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Hon. Dozie Nwankwo.
This was contained in a strong-worded letter addressed to the traditional ruler of Enugwu-Ukwu and Igwe Umunri, HRM Igwe Sir Ralph Ekpe, Okpalanakana-Ukabia IV.
In the letter, Senator Ekwunife accused Hon. Nwankwo of defacing and destroying her billboards, as well as attacking her supporters, and asked the traditional ruler to call Nwankwo to order immediately.
Ekwunife reminded Nwankwo that she has the capacity to stop any violence against her supporters in Enugwu-ukwu and any other community in Anambra central, saying: “I am not a politician who succumbs to intimation”.
She concluded by saying that if there is any other attack on her supporters in Enugwu-ukwu or any other community in Anambra central, she will take stringent actions to stop it.
