Let us get one thing clear – the Tribunal is not your ordinary court. Many politicians get away with certain acts in a tribunal setting they dare not in any usual court. In tribunals, technical matters flood everywhere that many atrocities escape punishment.
These are exactly why the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has been dribbling the conscience of majority of Nigerians with their ignoble act since the Obi vs. Tinubu petition was served to them.
The electoral umpire is a commission set up and sponsored with taxpayer’s money. This outfit has no entrepreneurial capacity to generate its operational funds. From diapers to bullion vans, it is taxpayers that provide for Professor Mahmood Yakubu and his retinue of suspiciously compromised workforce. Yet, the same providers are being recklessly toyed with while issues as important as presidential election fraud are on the burner.
Now comes the issue of the guilty being afraid! Why is the Prof Yakubu-led commission reluctant to submit the documents they used for the last presidential election to the petitioners? Is there any document used in any election that is not a material for public inspection? What atrocity did INEC commit that they are hiding from public scrutiny?
They designed the BVAS, created the IReV server and outlined ‘strict’ guidelines for the elections. They claimed there were technical issues while in the process of implementation. Why are they sweating blood in shielding that claim from professional scrutiny?
From what has been transpiring in court, and especially during yesterday’s session, it is now evident beyond every doubt that INEC RIGGED THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION OF FEBRUARY 25 and are dangerously very willing to spill drums of blood to protect their crime? Otherwise, they should provide every requested document the taxpayers provided in the first place for service to the people.
Better believe this, if there is any entity indulging in treasonable acts since February 25, look no further than INEC. They thwarted the wishes of the people and now doing everything, including contempt of court, to derail democracy.
