Former governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Anambra State and Obi-Datti campaign manager, Mr Oseloka Obaze, has lambasted the All Progressives Congress troll agents for attributing a fake statement to the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi.
Obi in a doctored front page of ThisDay Newspaper, was quoted to have told the tribunal in his final written address that Bola Ahmed Tinubu won the election but he should be disqualified and a rerun organized between him and Atiku
The fake statement reads, “Tinubu won but disqualify him and set a rerun between Atiku and I”.
While originally, the front page of ThisDay Newspaper quoted Atiku as saying there is plot by the APC to manipulate judiciary and undermine democracy.
“Atiku: APC plotting to manipulate judiciary, undermine democracy”.
Obi-Datti campaign manager—Oseloka who appeared infuriated with the petty manipulation, in a short statement posted on his official Twitter handle, blamed APC troll agents for the fake news.
He said such pedestrian behavior is unbecoming and however, erodes any modicum of confidence left in those individuals who grab power without public mandate.
Obaze said, “APC troll agents at work again; doctoring a major daily’s front page to use it deviously to attribute to @PeterObi something he never said. Such devious pedestrian conduct is unbecoming & erodes any modicum of confidence left in those who covet leadership without public mandate.”
