After classroom project, Kalu donates desks to Lokpanta primary school

After facilitating the construction of a multi-million naira block of classrooms, the lawmaker representing Abia North Senatorial District, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, has donated classroom desks to Lokpanta Primary School, Umunneochi Local Government Area.

Kalu, who is the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Privatisation, said the project is part of his dedication to improving the lives of children and youths through education.

Delivering the desks on behalf of the former Abia State Governor, Hon. Inogu Okoye, reaffirmed the commitment of Senator Orji Kalu towards enhancing a conducive learning environment and educational advancement for the people of the Senatorial District.

“Senator Orji Uzor Kalu is dedicated to improving the lives of children and youths through education, especially in Abia North Senatorial District.

“When he was the governor of the state, he gave our children free education; today, he is providing underprivileged children and youths with the skills, resources and opportunities necessary for a brighter future through quality education, he said.

Our correspondent reports that the desks were received by the school management— who appreciated the lawmaker for his developmental strides in the education sector.
