The executive governor of Ondo State, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu, has returned to the country after embarking on a medical vacation in Germany for three months.
The governor’s return from Germany was announced by his wife, Mrs Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu.
She posted on her X handle “Homebound” accompanied by a picture of the governor seated on a flight.
Akeredolu started his medical leave in June and was extended indefinitely by the state House of Assembly.
The Ondo governor had transferred power to his deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, in line with constitutional provisions.
Meanwhile, the governor is yet to make an official public appearance.
