Mohbad: Primeboy officially surrenders to police

Mr Owodunni Ibrahim, aka Primeboy, an ally of late musician, Mohbad, has surrendered himself to the police after he was declared wanted by the authorities on Wednesday.

Recall that the police had placed N1 million bounty on Primeboy after he reportedly refused to honour invitation extended to him following his alleged involvement in the death of his friend, Ilerioluwa Aloba, commonly known as Mohbad.

On Thursday, the Lagos State Police command confirmed that the artist has surrendered him.

Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesman of the Lagos State police command, said, “Following his being declared wanted, Owodunni Ibrahim Oluwatosin aka Primeboy has turned himself in. He has, immediately, been taken into custody for interrogation and other necessary actions.

“The Lagos State Police Command once again assures family, friends, fans of Mohbad and the general public that no stone will be left unturned in ensuring a most diligent investigation.

“The Command equally assure that all persons found culpable in the death of Mr Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad will definitely be brought to justice.”

Mohbad, a former signee of Marlian Records, died mysteriously at the age of 27 in Lagos.
