Joe Biden was not fit to run for President - Trump

The Republican Presidential candidate, Mr. Donald Trump, has slammed President Joe Biden, saying that he is not fit to run for president ab initio.

Mr. Trump stated this following President Biden’s decision to back out of the race.

Recall that Biden had, on July 20, 2024, announced his withdrawal from the presidential race.

He, thereafter, endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee for the upcoming election.

In a statement on Saturday, Biden declared his intention not to seek reelection as president.

He also announced his decision to withdraw from the race, citing the best interests of his party and the country.

“And while it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling the duties as President for the remainder of my term,” his statement read.

“My fellow Democrats, I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all my energies on my duties as President for the remainder of my term,” Joe Biden furthered.

“My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made.

“Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year.

“Democrats, it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this”.

The president also posted on X: “Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year,”

Trump’s reply to Joe Biden

Shortly after the announcement, Trump, his Republican rival, rubbished Biden on his Truth Social network.

His post says Joe Biden was “not fit to run” and “is certainly not fit to serve” as president

“Crooked Joe Biden was not fit to run for President and is certainly not fit to serve and never was! …

We will suffer greatly because of his presidency, but we will remedy the damage he has done very quickly.

MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump posted on his Truth Social network shortly after Biden’s announcement.
