Folashade Tinubu, the daughter of President Bola Tinubu, has warned that there won’t be any hunger protests in Lagos State.

She said this while addressing a group of marketers in the State.

According to Folashade, it is too early to criticize a government that has not yet completed three years in office.

“You need to allow a government to spend at least three years before judging their performance,” she stated.

Speaking further, Folashade admonished parents to discourage their children from joining the hunger protest planned for August 1, reminding them of the lasting impacts of the EndSARS protests nearly four years ago.

“We must tell our children and family members that protests are not beneficial in Lagos State. Remember the previous protests which led to the destruction of numerous public assets. Don’t let your children be exploited by those who pay them to cause unrest and damage property.

“Let us communicate among ourselves that protests are unnecessary in Lagos. The state government is making significant strides, and the federal government is still new. Give them at least three years before forming judgments”.
