Gunmen suspected to be members of Biafra Liberation Army have raided a military checkpoint in Umuahia, the capital of Abia State.
In a video obtained by NewsBand Newspaper, the gunmen were seen shooting and dismantling the checkpoints mounted by the Nigerian army personnel.
One of the gunmen was heard warning the governor of the state, Dr Alex Otti to be careful, adding that they don’t want to see such checkpoints again.
Meanwhile, at the time of filing this report, this medium cannot independently verify if there were casualties during the vicious attack.
