Police authorities in Ogun State have confirmed the death of a man, Mr Sunday Abidoye, whose lifeless body was found in a hotel room at Creestar Hotel, Sagamu, on Wednesday.

The spokesman of the command, Omolola Odutola in a statement revealed that the incident came to light when the hotel’s Chief Security Officer (CSO), Oluwole, reported the discovery to the police.

Though, the circumstances surrounding the death remain unclear as investigations are underway.

“On receiving the report, a team of detectives visited the scene and found the body of the deceased already placed in a car outside the hotel. It was being prepared to be transported to the morgue by his family,” Odutola said.

Various drugs and traditional medicines were reportedly found in the room, while the centre of the bed was soaked with a liquid-like substance.
