Nigerian troops from the 6 Brigade, Sector 3, under Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS), have dismantled several bandit hideouts and recovered arms and ammunition in Taraba State.

This was disclosed in a statement on Sunday by Capt. Olubodunde Oni, Acting Assistant Director of Army Public Relations.

“The operation, code-named OP GOLDEN PEACE, was launched after extensive patrols, clearance missions, and consultations with key stakeholders, yielding significant results in the northern part of the state,” the statement revealed.
