Before the National Protests: How did we get here?

Nigeria, the most populous black nation on earth, the giant of Africa, the once world’s 7th oil producer, the largest economy on the African continent, and the ‘pride’ of the African race is now a shadow of itself.

Nigeria is gasping for breath, ready for the undertakers.
Nigeria is what I unfortunately describe as a rudderless ship manned by successive deaf Captains and crew on the turbulent waters of economic crisis who can’t hear the MAYDAY distress calls, as they head towards a shipwreck.

Consequently, living in Nigeria today is like living in Hell right here on earth, and by the time we approach hell (God forbid) after our death, I do hope that God will save you and I from double jeopardy by sparing us from the real hell in Hell.

This crisis situation coupled with the already unfriendly hostile business climate, and fear of the impending doom is forcing foreign investors, manufacturing industries, and big time Multi National companies to take first class flight out of Nigeria.

Besides, Nigerian politicians are already stashing billions of proceeds of corruption money in their foreign bank accounts, evacuating their families and businesses to foreign countries.

Coming your way on Wednesday 31/7/2024 is an exray of the boom and doom of Nigeria, the causes and effects, culprits and the victims.

It promises to be incisive, informative, and pungent as it will be heavily laced with an embroidery of facts, figures, data, dates, names, and a crystal clear analysis.
