Celine Dion, on August 10, 2024, criticized Donald Trump for using the song she wrote and performed for the disaster movie “Titanic”, at an election rally in Montana, USA.

The Republican presidential candidate faced mockery on social media after playing the 1997 track “My Heart Will Go On” at a Montana rally on Friday, with a video of Dion performing the song displayed on a big screen.

Dion’s management team and her record label, Sony Music Entertainment Canada Inc., issued a statement on X, saying:

“In no way is this use authorized and Celine Dion does not endorse this or any similar use.”

She also expressed surprise at the choice of his song, questioning, “And really, that song?”
