Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission [EFCC] with armed policemen have stormed the residence of former governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Peter Ayodele Fayose in Afao Ekiti.
Former Governor Fayose disclosed this himself on his official Twitter handle.
According to the former governor, their mission is to search his house for election money.
The money was suspected to be lodged in his residence by the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar ahead of the presidential election tomorrow.
