The Special Assistant on Internally Generated Revenue [IGR] to Anambra State governor, Willie Obiano, Emmanuel Ike Nwobosi, the son of popular Ike Nwaobosi, was among the All Progressives Grand Alliance [APGA] thugs caught yesterday trying to snatch ballot boxes for their APGA and All Progressives Congress [APC] candidates.
They met their Waterloo when some brave youths and policemen gave them a hot pursuit.
It could be recalled that Governor Obiano recently was heard encouraging APGA youths to do everything possible, including violence and death, to stop the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] from winning.
He said: “Make sure PDP doesn’t win in your polling units, even if you have to kill, kill and I will bail the person.
This latest development, according to an observer, is “the resultant effect of that statement”.
