Again Senate moves to amend CCT, CCB Act, bill scales 1st reading

After 5 months Senate dropped move to amend ‎the CCT and CCB Act, the Red Chamber decided to amend the act as the bill scaled through first reading.

After five months that Senate dropped the move to amend ‎the Code of Conduct Act, the Red Chamber on Wednesday decided to amend the act as the bill scaled through first reading.

The bill was among the five bills that scaled through first reading which was sponsored by Senator Leader, Ali Ndume.‎

‎The proposed legislation, entitled: “Code of Conduct Act CAP C15 LFN 2004 (Amendment) Bill, 2016 (SB 248)”, scaled the crucial first reading seamlessly in the upper chamber yesterday.
