The incumbent, Mr. Ben Ayade of the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] has been declared the winner of the Cross River governorship election held on Saturday.
Mr. Ayade defeated his closest rivals, the All Progressives Congress [APC] and the Social Democratic Party [SDP].
