North extremely comfortable with Tinubu — Bwala

President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has confidently stated that the Northern region is satisfied with the president’s governance approach.

He dismissed claims of dissatisfaction made by former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal.

Lawal had alleged that Tinubu’s administration was neglecting the North, accusing the president of sidelining the region in federal projects.

In an interview on Channels Television on Wednesday, Bwala countered these claims, emphasizing that Northern Nigeria is “extremely comfortable” with Tinubu’s leadership.

He explained: “Mr. President is addressing both immediate and long-term challenges. You can see conscious efforts through various policies aimed at solving critical issues.”

While addressing concerns about hardship voiced by Nigerians, Bwala assured that economic conditions are improving, attributing the complaints to political agendas pushed by opposition parties.

He remarked: “Things are already getting better. There’s a clear distinction between genuine public grievances and the narratives spun by opposition politicians who are frustrated by the president’s performance.”

Bwala’s comments reflect the presidency’s confidence in its ability to maintain the Northern political base while pushing forward with reforms aimed at national development.
