Delta community celebrates Dr. Ojoede’s political appointment

(DDM) – Koko community in Warri North Local Government Area erupted in celebration on Friday, September 5, as indigenes gathered to honour their son, Dr. Oritsegbegbemi Maurice Ojoede, on his appointment as Executive Assistant, Political, to Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

The colourful ceremony, held at Koko Community School, attracted traditional rulers, political stakeholders, youth groups, and well-wishers from across the region.

Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) gathered that Governor Oborevwori was applauded for recognizing Dr. Ojoede’s competence and loyalty, entrusting him with the sensitive political advisory role.

Speakers at the event described the appointment as both a personal triumph for Dr. Ojoede and a collective source of pride for the people of Koko.

Community leaders noted that such recognition further strengthens the bond between the grassroots and the state government.
