A herder’s lifeless body was discovered in Riwaza, near the Fobgbe community in the Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
According to local sources, the body was found around 6:22 p.m. on Monday by a farmer returning from his field.
The herder had gone missing on Sunday after leaving his settlement with his cows for grazing.
The community leader, Ardo Shehu Usman, confirmed the incident, stating that the matter wasn’t immediately reported to security agencies due to the poor condition of the road linking the village to Kwali town.
“We kept searching for him, but it wasn’t until Monday evening that a farmer saw the corpse and informed the community,” he explained.
The cause of death is yet to be determined.
