CAF Confederation Cup: Go for victory, Kwara FA boss charges Kwara United

 

As Kwara United prepare to lock horns with Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko, in the CAF Confederation Cup, Chairman of the Kwara State Football Association, Mallam Idris Musa Thuraya, has charged the Harmony Boys to go all out for victory.

 

Thuraya, speaking ahead of the much-anticipated clash, said securing maximum points in the first leg will be key to easing the team’s path in the competition. He urged the players to remain focused, disciplined, and determined.

The FA boss praised Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his unwavering support, noting that this marks the club’s second continental campaign under his leadership.

 

“I want to thank His Excellency Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for the physical and financial support he has given to Kwara United. His commitment to sports development is evident, and we are grateful,” he said.

 

Thuraya further backed Kwara United’s bid to continue playing continental matches at home, stressing that home advantage is vital to boosting morale. He also called on fans and stakeholders to rally behind the team with prayers and encouragement as they chase continental glory for Kwara State.
