The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has stated that it has continued to sustain electoral momentum in the state with victory in the forthcoming governorship election in sight.
The Independent national Electoral Commission (INEC) will conduct the election on Saturday, November 8, 2025.
A party faithful, Mr. Ikechukwu Augustine Obah, popularly known as Mgboejiejeogu, told Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) that the momentum is glaring.
Reacting to the surge in electoral momentum, he said:
“We have less than 48 hours to the official closing of physical and online campaigns by political parties in Anambra State.
“Any non-partisan individual living in the state would readily attest that the African Democratic Congress has already captured the hearts of Ndi Anambra with its genuine governance manifesto ahead of Saturday, November 8.
“As it stands, the incumbent administration is panicking.
“It is fully aware that a change is imminent and that a new wind is already blowing across the length and breadth of the state.
“The engagements of the governorship and deputy governorship candidates, Mr. John Chuma Nwosu and Dr. Geoffrey Ndubisi Nwobu, since the lifting of the campaign ban, have been described by many as the most purposeful when compared to other political parties.
“For the skeptics, the handwriting on the wall is clear: the African Democratic Congress is on the path to victory.
“The leadership of Mr. John Chuma Nwosu and Dr. Geoffrey Ndubisi Nwobu, if elected, would advance our democratic ethos and deliver the dividends of democracy to all.”

Gratitude to people of Ogbaru
Meanwhile, in another development, the governorship candidates, Mr. Nwosu has extended a heartful “gratitude to the great people of Ogbaru”.
Nwosu said they showed him “overwhelming show of solidarity, love, and support” during the visit of his campaign team.
He promised to personally visit Ogbaru tomorrow as a show of appreciation.
He said: “I sincerely appreciate the ADC Family in Ogbaru for their overwhelming show of solidarity, love, and support.
“A special shout-out to Ogwu-Ikpele Ward for the historic land and water rally yesterday — your passion lit up the entire area!
“In appreciation of your massive support, I’m rescheduling my itinerary to personally visit Ogbaru tomorrow.
“Together, we’re making history. Together, we’ll build the Anambra of our dreams,” he added.
